ABSTRACT

The Corona Virus (COVID-19) pandemic situation has posed a significant effect on the tourism industry. Tourism destinations have accepted emergency health care measures and restrictions imposed on human movement around the world. Beaches and resorts are empty, peoples' movements are stopped, and traveling between territories is strictly controlled. The COVID-19 lockdown around the world has imposed a negative impact on the livelihood of people and the world economy as well. The goal of the current study is to determine the potential for sustainable tourism growth in the near future given the social, economic, and environmental effects of the COVID-19 pandemic crisis. © 2022 Technoscience Publications.
